Mood Disorders
What It Is:
Mood disorders, like persistent sadness, irritability, or emotional highs and lows, affect how you feel daily. These mood changes can interfere with your quality of life if left untreated.
What This Might Look Like:
You may experience prolonged periods of sadness or irritability or notice swings between high and low moods that make it difficult to maintain stability in your relationships and activities.
How This Could Impact Your Life:
Mood disorders can disrupt relationships, work, and general well-being, often leading to self-isolation or increased stress in social and professional environments.
Statistics:
Mood disorders impact around 9.7% of U.S. adults each year. Early intervention and consistent treatment significantly improve outcomes.
