A Holistic Path to Mental Wellness

Break the cycle with our team effort, integrative style. We mix traditional medicine with some out-of-the-box thinking. We're all about exploring what's really going on beneath the surface. No one-size-fits-all solutions here - just a tailored journey to wellness that clicks for you.

We're not just following the latest fads; we're on top of new treatments and therapies, but we're also honest about what we can and can't do. Got your eye on something beyond our expertise? We'll connect you with someone who can help. We're all in this together.

We’re here to help you with...

Integrative Medicine, Wellness, and Men’s Health

You’re in the Driver’s Seat

We're all about making this easy and stress-free. We'll share our thoughts on what's best, but you're right there in the conversation—it's your body, after all. We want you steering the ship when it comes to what goes in it. Have some thoughts on meds or treatments you're curious about? Speak up. If it's something we haven't heard of, we'll look into it. If we can make it happen, we will. If not, we'll help steer you to someone who can.

Mental Health testimonial:
"I’ve dealt with ADHD and anxiety for most of my life, but when I came here, it was the first time I felt really seen about it. He didn’t just blow me off - he listened. Now, I’ve been able to manage my anxiety way better, and actually focus on things and get stuff done. I feel like I’m in control ."

Men’s Health testimonial:
“I was really hesitant to talk about my issues at first. It’s not exactly easy to open up about stuff like that. But from day one, I felt comfortable and not judged at all. Ragnar treated me like a person, not just some guy with a problem. The whole experience was super professional but also relaxed, like talking to a friend who can actually help. I’m glad I reached out.”

Meet the Team

Tuyet, Practice Manager
  • Founder

Hey, I'm Ragnar, the guy who started LiveWell - where we always take your health seriously, but not always ourselves.

    Life’s too short, ya know?

My love of holistic healthcare started during my undergrad at Stetson University where I got a Bachelors in Integrative Health. That evolved a bit when I mixed in my interest in psychology and studied psychiatric mental health to become a Nurse Practitioner at Rocky Mountain University.

I shook those up into the cocktail we call integrative psychiatry. I think it’s really a perfect blend, like coffee and cream.

At LiveWell, we’re all about helping folks rewrite their mental health narratives... whether you're dealing with ADHD, mood swings, anxiety from life's curveballs, or those 'why is my hair falling out?' moments. We cover everything from testosterone levels to weight loss, making the most of what modern medicine has to offer (shout out to Ozempic)… and yeah, we can also set you up with those little blue pills so things are only hard when you want them to be.

To LiveWell means to merge your mental and physical wellness - helping you to look and feel your best,.

Together, we’ll make sure you’re writing your best life story, one chapter at a time.

  • PMHNP Clinical Precept

Kelly is the psychiatric nurse you'd want in your corner for a showdown. With travel nursing stints that ranged from New Hampshire to Washington, she's seen more than most - and nothing fazes her. Kelly's got this cool, collected vibe that makes everyone else feel like they're at a spa, not a clinic, and her experience adds a rich layer to the LiveWell crew.

She and Ragnar crossed paths by chance during an assignment in Tacoma, Washington, where their mutual love for a good laugh and commitment to patient care lit the fuse to a partnership that's been going strong. Kelly treats every patient like an old friend, diving into the nuances of their stories, and teaming up to provide whatever support is needed to smash their goals.

Currently, she's finishing up her Nurse Practitioner training with us - it's like a medical residency, but for nurse practitioners. We're over the moon to have her, infusing our team with her warmth, skill, and an authentic heart.

  • Clinical Coordinator

Meet Tuyet, the pulse of our clinic and the queen of doing it all. Armed with a bachelor's from Lipscomb University and a BSN from South College, she's the mix of know-how and compassion that LiveWell thrives on. Tuyet has this superpower called empathy—she understands people, slipping into their shoes like it's second nature, making every interaction genuinely heartfelt.

When she's not the office maestro (we'd be wandering aimlessly without her), she's probably jet-setting, chasing her travel bug. From Korea to France, China to Switzerland, Tuyet's adventures are straight out of an Instagram highlight reel. She's the one you want in your corner, whether it's organizing the office chaos or plotting your next epic getaway.

Big or small, she nails it.

  • Chief Snack Officer

Buddy is out here living his absolute best life as our Therapy Hound and Chief Snack Officer. This German Shorthair has a knack for sniffing out both comfort and mischief, taking his duties very seriously... particularly when snacks are in play. He's all about spreading good vibes (and scavenging for treats).

When there are treats, he's your guy. Without them? You better believe he's hinting for you to fetch some. His philosophy? "No treat, no meet!"

Whether he's in charge of snack handouts or just lending an ear (or a paw), Buddy's here to make your day brighter (and to secretly increase his snack stockpile).

The Fine Print…

  • You need to keep a credit card on file, and we'll charge it before your appointment unless we've made other arrangements.

If you don't want to use your card, you can also pay with Venmo or CashApp.

We prefer payments through Zelle or BTC. There's a 5% discount if you use Zelle, and if you're into crypto, BTC gets you a 10% discount.

  • We're primarily a self-pay practice, which means we generally don't bill insurance directly, which includes Medicare and Medicaid.

It's a bummer, but it's the only way we can focus 100% on you without insurance companies messing us around and adding extra hoops to jump through.

A lot of insurance companies will still cover 60-80% of your visit costs, though. We can give you a "Superbill" with all the details you need to get reimbursed by your insurance provider.

For the nitty-gritty on coverage, just ask your insurance for the details about your out-of-network benefits.

  • To a limited degree, we are able to accept some patients from select insurance carriers as an in-network provider.

    We are in-network with:
    Cigna
    Aetna

Not all of our providers participate in these networks, so spots are limited. Call or email to confirm availability.

  • As a "fee for service" practice, we expect payment when you come in for your visit. This setup keeps things private, flexible, and lets us give you top-notch care, all customized to what you need without insurance telling us how long or how often you can see us. Here's the basic range on our self-pay rates:

    • Initial Psychiatric Evaluation: $325-450

    • Follow-Ups: $100-$200

    • Refill Only: $50

We tuck a full updated fee schedule into all the new patient welcome packets, and established patients get a more detailed explanation if anything changes - when it comes to bills, we hate surprises just as much as you do.

  • Going with LiveWell as your out-of-network provider means you get to call the shots on your care. We craft your treatment plan around what you need, not what insurance dictates, so we can meet up as much (or as little) as you need.

And your privacy? We keep that locked down, only sharing with insurance if you're after some reimbursement.

This approach means it's all about you, and helping you reach your goals without the hassle and red tape that comes with insurance.

  • If you no-show or cancel an appointment with less than 24 hours notice, we'll charge the standard appointment fee to the card we have on file.

  • At LiveWell, we're thrilled to work with Nurse Practitioner, Medical, and Physician Assistant students - they're the future clinicians getting real-world experience to boost their learning.

These students are always under the watchful eye of our Providers, and every treatment decision is a joint effort between the student and the supervising pro.

You might find students joining us for sessions, whether we're meeting via telehealth or in person.

The healthcare field is in a bind with a shortage of providers, and without nurturing this new wave, keeping up with demand's going to be a challenge.

We're committed to playing our role, and training students is a big chunk of that mission. It's up to you whether you want to participate in this program, but we might not be able to provide care if you don't agree to student involvement.

  • Getting a psych eval with one of our clinicians doesn't mean you'll automatically become a patient here. Sometimes, we might think you need more hands-on care than we can provide, and if that's the case, we'll send you off with referrals to programs that can better assist you.

If we believe you're a good match for treatment here, we'll give you some recommendations to follow. If you don't, maybe we're not the right match for you. You should be working with someone whose care plans you're excited to follow. If that's not us, that's totally okay!

Other reasons we might have to let you go include not showing up for appointments, ignoring our calls, not paying on time, or not using medications as prescribed.

If we do have to part ways, and you're on meds, we'll make sure you have enough refills (generally a month or so) to tide you over while you find another provider.

  • We take your privacy seriously and follow all the HIPAA rules to keep your patient info secure and under wraps.

We handle your health records with top-notch care, using HIPAA-compliant systems for all sorts of things, from scheduling to how we talk to you.

  • Our concierge membership means more visits, check-ins between appointments, direct calls and texts with your provider, and just better access to care all around. Members get same-day appointments, help with refills, and a bunch more.

We only have a few spots for concierge members, and it's a flat monthly fee that covers all services.
